NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Niacet Corp. said it will raise the off-list prices of its calcium and sodium propionates by 7c per lb, not to exceed list price, by April 1.

“Recent months have seen significant increases in the price of petrochemical feedstocks and other related inputs which have affected the cost of calcium and sodium propionate production,” said Michael Bowers, director of sales and marketing at Niacet. “Because of this, we are announcing an increase in the price of our propionates.”
