UKIAH, CALIF. — Gluten-free baker Pamela’s Products has invested $1 million in its California-based bakery, doubling production capacity to 76,000 square feet and consolidating operations under one roof. The facility now houses a new energy efficient, 120 foot-long tunnel oven and three new wrapping machines for the company’s full line of gluten-free products, including cookies and bars, baking mixes, biscotti and ready-to-eat cakes. Pamela’s also has hired a new director of marketing, Jennifer Ramstad, and new creative director, Deborah Shea. Ms. Ramstad most recently was director of marketing at Barbara’s Bakery/Weetabix North America. Ms. Shea has collaborated with Pamela’s on the brand’s packaging for more than 16 years.
