BURSA, TURKEY — Nestle S.A. is investing 49.6 million Swiss francs ($54.6 million) in a new breakfast cereal facility in Turkey. The 102,000-square-foot facility will serve as the regional hub for breakfast cereals and export products to North African and Middle Eastern countries, Nestle said. Previously, Nestle had imported cereal products into Turkey.

“As the 15th breakfast cereals site for Nestle, this is an indication of our belief in Turkey, and our long-term commitment in this country,” said Hans-Ulrich Mayer, managing director for Nestle Turkey.
