CANTON, MASS. — Dunkin’s Donuts, a subsidiary of Dunkin’ Brands, Inc., has introduced Pancake Bites, a new menu item the company is marketing as a “breakfast snack.” The new item is available for a limited time only, according to the company.

The new product features bite-size pieces of sausage wrapped in a pancake. The company is offering a serving of three Pancake Bites for a suggested retail price of $1.59, and two servings are available for $3.

“Everyone loves a traditional pancake and sausage breakfast, but in our typical busy day it’s almost impossible to find the time it takes to sit down and enjoy it,” said Stan Frankenhaler, executive chef for Dunkin Donuts. “With our new Pancake Bites, we’ve put the traditional taste of pancakes and sausage into a portable, poppable snack that you can take with you on the go, in the car, at work or any time day or night.”
