OAK BROOK, ILL. — McDonald’s is introducing fruit and maple oatmeal, which will be available for breakfast and throughout the day.

“With McDonald’s fruit and maple oatmeal, we’re offering portable, affordable and balanced breakfast solutions to help customers start their day right,” said Cindy Goody, senior director of nutrition. “McDonald’s wants to help make it easier and more inviting for our guests to eat more whole grains and fruits, and fruit and maple oatmeal is an effective way to help our customers integrate these important food groups in their daily diets.”

The new product is made with 100% natural whole grain oats, light cream, brown sugar and is topped with apples, cranberries and raisins. It may be ordered with or without brown sugar, and the option without brown sugar has 260 calories per serving.
