SEATTLE — Starbucks Coffee Co. is expanding its artisan breakfast sandwich line with the addition of the Veggie, Egg & Monterey Jack sandwich. According to Starbucks, the sandwich was inspired by the company’s customers on MyStarbucksIdea and is a new personal favorite of John Yamin, chief executive officer of La Brea Bakery, which bakes the artisan rolls.

The new sandwich is an egg omelet with green and red peppers and diced onion topped with melted Monterey Jack cheese in a hand-scored, oven-toasted artisan roll.

Starbucks also offers a Bacon, Egg & Gouda Cheese artisan breakfast sandwich.
