Intralox will present new technologies designed to improve operational efficiency in plants during the iba 2009 International Trade Fair Oct. 3-9 in Munich, Germany.

The ThermoDrive, an ultra-hygienic conveying solution offered exclusively by Intralox, improves food safety, according to the company. The Series 2800 Spiralox GTech, a green spiral belt, delivers the benefits of Intralox modular plastic belting on spirals and combines other benefits in increased beam strength, better air flow and tighter transfer capability.

The I-Drive, Intralox’s new intermediate drive conveyor technology, enables Intralox modular plastic belts to run long distances without transfers, which makes it possible to use one belt for long runs in bakeries. Activated Roller Belt (ARB) technology, a new conveyance platform, enables automation in plants where it previously was cost-prohibitive or too complex.
