PARIS — SEPPIC has added four new products to its line of stevia-based sweeteners. Rebaten 90%, Rebaten 80% and Rebaten 60% all are named for their respective Rebaudioside A concentrations. Steviten Light, the fourth new ingredient, has Rebaudioside A concentration of 10%. Rebaudioside A is an extract of the stevia plant.
The new sweeteners join Rebaten 97% in the SEPPIC stevia ingredient range. They may be used in such applications as beverages, dairy products, ice cream, chewing gum, cereal and dietary supplements.
SEPPIC, a subsidiary of Air Liquide, is in a partnership with Daepyung, a stevia extract producer based in Korea. Air Liquide is based in Paris and has a U.S. office in Houston.
