ATLANTA — Moe’s Southwest Grill, a fast-casual restaurant chain with more than 400 U.S. locations, has added whole grain tortillas to its menu. The new tortillas are available for quesadillas, burritos, junior burritos and salad bowls.

“We tested a variety of tortillas, but decided on whole grain because of the great taste and nutritional benefits,” said Dan Barash, director of R.&D. for Moe’s. “Whole grains provide the rich balance of nutrients that are found in the original grain seed.”

Founded in 2000, Moe’s is owned by Focus Brands, Inc., the franchisor and operator of more than 2,200 Carvel, Cinnabon, Schlotzsky’s, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Seattle’s Best Coffee locations.
