Clextral’s course will combine classroom sessions, processing demonstrations and networking opportunities. 

TAMPA, FLA. — Clextral will host an Extrusion Discovery Course for food processors in Tampa, Fla., April 10-12, that will teach students how to create appealing and profitable extruded foods and explore new product opportunities and technologies. 

Taking place at Clextral’s test center, the course will include classroom sessions and processing demonstrations. A comprehensive overview of the theory and practical considerations of extrusion processing will be covered in lectures, and presentations will show extrusion, product drying and coating, co-extruded foods (pillows with fillings), and whole grain snacks. Demonstrations will be performed on the EVOLUM+ extruder.


Networking opportunities also will be available for participants to bring questions to Clextral’s extrusion experts and speak with other processors.
