Richard Kirkland has been named president of LeMatic.
 

JACKSON, MICH. — Richard Kirkland has been named president of LeMatic, Inc., a provider of slicing, packaging and automated systems to the baking industry. He succeeds John Hamilton, who will remain with LeMatic in an advisory capacity.

Mr. Kirkland has more than 15 years of experience in the food industry, most recently as sales director for esmo USA, an international provider of custom machine engineering, plant engineering and automation. Prior to esmo, he was a sales engineer at Lanham Machinery, and earlier he was vice-president of sales and marketing at APV Baker.

He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
