Thin Mints Chickpea Snacks will be sold exclusively at Whole Foods.

BOSTON — Blending nostalgia with on-trend snacking ingredients, Biena will introduce Thin Mints Chickpea Snacks this June.

Transforming the cookie into a healthier treat, the brand’s Sea Salt Chickpeas will be enrobed in the licensed flavor of Girl Scouts of the USA Thin Mints and Fair Trade dark chocolate. It includes 4 grams of protein and fiber and 130 calories per serving.

“There are few things Americans anticipate more than Girl Scout Cookie season, so we are very excited to offer a chickpea snack inspired by the classic flavor of Thin Mints cookies,” said Poorvi Patodia, founder and chief executive officer, Biena.

Thin Mints Chickpea Snacks will be sold exclusively at Whole foods in 3.15-oz packs for $4.49.

Biena is a producer of dry-roasted chickpea snacks. Its product portfolio currently includes dark chocolate and salted caramel covered chickpeas as well as sea salt, honey roasted, barbecue and habanero varieties.
