WOERDEN, THE NETHERLANDS — tna has opened tna Netherlands Manufacturing, a new facility in  Woerden, The Netherlands, that will create potato and vegetable processing and pre-processing equipment. Formerly known as Florigo Industry B.V., the facility will allow tna to increase its production capacities and make its technology accessible to customers and prospects.

The space will also host an expanded Food Technology Testing Centre (FTTC) and a dedicated product demonstration area, incorporating both processing and packaging equipment in a single location. The FTTC has been equipped with a range of tna’s food processing solutions so that customers can experience how tna’s equipment operates in a factory setting. In addition, a showcase of its latest controls technology, such as advanced equipment integration, detailed data collection and cloud-based controls, will be accessible.

“We’re incredibly excited to officially open our new food processing center,” said Nadia Taylor, co-founder and director, tna. “The new site is three times bigger than the previous Florigo factory, which not only strengthens our current manufacturing capabilities but also ensures that we have the capacity to further expand our operations in the future.”

Since acquiring Florigo back in 2015, tna has made a number of significant investments and increased the local workforce by 80%. With equipment ranging from materials handling, processing, cooling, coating, distribution and more, tna is currently the only single-source supplier that offers integrated solutions for every step of the potato processing line.
