KANSAS CITY — Breakfast foods are booming in new product launches.

Bimbo Bakeries USA is expanding its Entenmann’s Little Bites muffins line with a new Vanilla Naturally Flavored variety. The mini muffins are packaged in pre-portioned 190-calorie pouches and contain no high-fructose corn syrup or trans fats.

The Kellogg Co. is adding to its cereal lineup with new Wild Berry Froot Loops, the first new flavor for the brand in 10 years. The cereal features a new, sweet and fruity berry taste, along with a new shape — a purple star.

Two new cereal varieties are joining Post Holdings, Inc.’s portfolio: Nilla Banana Pudding cereal and Golden Oreo O’s cereal.

Pinnacle Foods, Inc. is introducing Mrs. Butterworth’s Breakfast for 1 pancake mixes. Designed to be microwaved in a mug, the mixes come in boxes of four packets and are available in four varieties: buttermilk, cinnamon roll, confetti and chocolate chip.
