CAMDEN, N.J. — Xavier Boza has been promoted to chief human resources officer for the Campbell Soup Co., effective Aug. 1. Mr. Boza was previously vice-president of human resources for the global biscuits and snacks business unit for the company, a role he has held since 2015.

In his new role, Mr. Boza will be responsible for the company’s global human resources function, including talent acquisition and management, organizational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, and diversity and inclusion.

Before joining Campbell Soup, Mr. Boza was regional vice-president of human resources and global supply chain for the Kellogg Co. Before that, he held senior human resources roles at Kraft Foods, including vice-president of human resources for the Oscar Mayer business unit and vice-president of human resources for Central and Eastern Europe region global sales. Earlier in his career, Mr. Boza held positions with Hovensa L.L.C., Grunenthal Pharmaceutical and Abbott Laboratories. He also served as a human resources officer for the United States Air Force for almost 10 years.

Mr. Boza succeeds Robert Morissey, who will retire from the company after nearly 15 years. Mr. Morissey joined Campbell Soup in 2003 as vice-president of human resources for global sales. During his time with the company, he also was vice-president of human resources for North America and vice-president of human resources for Campbell USA. He was named chief human resources officer in 2012.
