BERKELEY, CALIF. — Annie’s, Inc., a General Mills, Inc. brand, is expanding its Cheddar Bunnies baked snack crackers line with the introduction of a gluten-free variety.
“Over the years, we have received so many heartfelt notes, letters and e-mails asking for us to create a gluten-free recipe for our Cheddar Bunny crackers,” said Carla Vernon, president of Annie’s. “We are so thrilled to share our crispy, cheesy gluten-free bunny cracker and we hope our patient fans will hop with joy when they taste them.
“At Annie’s, it is our mission to give kids and families food that they feel good about eating. We want kids to light up when they see Annie’s in their lunchboxes, and we hope parents can feel confident about the wholesome and delicious Annie’s snacks they’re packing.”
In addition to being certified gluten-free by NSF International, the gluten-free Cheddar Bunny Tails baked snack crackers contain no artificial flavors, synthetic colors or synthetic preservatives.
