ABBOTSFORD, B.C.  — Silver Hills Bakery introduced a refreshed lineup of its Sprouted Power Bagels to Canadian consumers. After receiving consumer feedback, the bakery made changes to the bagel’s mouthfeel and increased its nutritional benefits.

The product blends sprouted organic whole grains and organic wheat flour to create a healthier and softer bagel.

“We heard our consumers loud and clear — they wanted softer and chewier bagels that still offered the great health benefits of sprouted grains — and we’re proud to be delivering on both fronts with this new line,” said Brad Brousson, co-founder of Silver Hills Bakery. “We also took this opportunity to revamp our flavor offerings to meet our customers’ demands for classic bagel favorites.”

The new varieties include plain, Everything, sesame sunflower and cinnamon raisin.

The bagels are made with non-G.M.O. ingredients and high-fiber sprouted whole grains that provide essential nutrients such as B vitamins and vitamin C. In addition, the product is certified as Glyphosate Residue Free.

Sprouted Power Bagels have a suggested retail price of C$5.99 ($4.57) per 400-gram package.
