BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — Kellogg Co. is extending its Frosted Flakes ready-to-eat cereal brand with the launch of Kellogg’s Honey Nut Frosted Flakes. The new cereal features a blend of honey and brown butter on toasted corn flakes.

“Honey Nut Frosted Flakes was a tough nut to crack,” said Brant Wheaton, senior brand manager for Frosted Flakes. “We knew our fans would be excited for this flavor, and we’re, too. It was such a fun challenge to combine the two well-known flavors of honey nut and Frosted Flakes to make something completely unique and, quite frankly, g-r-reat.”

The new cereal joins a lineup that includes Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes, Cinnamon Frosted Flakes, Chocolate Frosted Flakes and Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes with Marshmallows.

The cereal will be available nationwide in January at all major retailers and grocery stores and will come in two sizes: 13.7 oz and 24.5 oz, with a suggested retail price of $3.99 and $5.49, respectively.
