MAYSVILLE, OKLA. — Burford Corp. has promoted Clay Miller to vice-president of sales, due to his technical, sales and leadership skills and 17 years of industry experience. He most recently held a sales engineer role at the equipment manufacturer.

Mr. Miller began at Burford in 2001 as a mechanical engineer. After eight years of learning about and designing the company’s equipment, he switched to the sales department.

In addition to his experience at Burford, Mr. Miller has had various involvement in the industry. This experience includes roles as the secretary/treasurer of Allied Trades of the Baking Industry, program chair and second vice-chairman of the American Society of Baking, a BEMA board of director and committee member for Baking Industry Forum.
