The Vemag coextrusion system from Reiser was designed for filled-product applications. Two Vemag vacuum fillers can be used to create an assortment of precisely portioned coextruded bakery products, including filled sandwiches, breadsticks, and cookies. The first Vemag supplies the product’s outer “shell,” typically a dough product. The second Vemag supplies the product’s filling, accurately positioned within the shell. A Vemag servo crimper simultaneously forms the product shape, seals the product ends and cuts the product into individual portions.
