DALLAS — Bradley Cain has taken over as president of Cain Food Industries, Inc. while Tom McCurry is now chief executive officer. In one other promotion, Matt Feder has been named senior vice-president of sales.

Mr. Cain succeeds Gary Cain, who stepped down after serving as president for nearly 35 years. Bradley Cain joined the company full-time as a bakery technician in 2007. He has held various managerial roles, including his most recent position as vice-president. Bradley Cain has served on various boards and committees, including the Allied Trades of the Baking Industry, NextGen Baker and the Food Technical Regulatory Affairs Professional Group.

Mr. McCurry is a 30-year veteran of the grain-based foods industry and spent the past nine years as vice-president of sales and chief operating officer at Dallas-based Cain Food Industries. He began his career at Sosland Publishing Company, Kansas City, which publishes Milling & Baking News. Mr. McCurry has served as president of the Allied Trades of the Baking Industry, as a board member of the American Bakers Association, as co-chair of the A.B.A.’s Executive Leadership Committee (now NextGen Baker) and as second vice-chair of the American Society of Baking. He received a degree in journalism, with an emphasis in advertising, at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.

Mr. Feder, as senior vice-president of sales, will oversee Cain’s sales and strategy. He began his career with Sosland Publishing Company in 1995 and joined Cain in 2010 as vice-president of business development. Most recently he was vice-president of sales and marketing. Mr. Feder has served as president of the Midwest Allied Trades of the Baking Industry and as session chair for the American Society of Baking. He received a degree in journalism from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo.

Cain Food Industries supplies ingredients to the wholesale and retail baking industries. Ernie and Billie Cain founded the company in 1971.
