ZURICH — Bensdorp, a Barry Callebaut Group brand, has added Natural Dark cocoa powder to its range of chocolate ingredients. The 100% natural cocoa powder is processed without alkali, making it suitable for clean label bakery, pastry and beverage applications.

Driven by demands for healthier chocolate products, Bensdorp spent two years creating the ingredient and tested it with consumers before its release.

Natural Dark will debut at the International Baking Industry Exposition, taking place Sept. 7-11 in Las Vegas. Attendees can visit Barry Callebaut’s booth No. 1337 to sample the cocoa powder in a range of bakery products.
