PLANO, TEXAS — Yum! Brands, Inc. has joined forces with Kellogg Co. to create a new mashup for Pizza Hut restaurants: The Stuffed Cheez-It Pizza.

Available for a limited time, the pizza features four baked jumbo squares of sharp cheddar Cheez-It cracker crust stuffed with either cheese or pepperoni and cheese. The stuffed squares are served with a side of marinara dipping sauce.

“We pride ourselves on being the go-to for unexpected pizza innovations,” said Marianne Radley, chief brand officer for Pizza Hut.

The Stuffed Cheez-It Pizza was born out of the insight that Cheez-It is a popular snack among college students, one of Pizza Hut’s largest fan bases. With that knowledge, Pizza Hut’s culinary team worked with Cheez-It to develop a product “that ties the best of both pizza and Cheez-It worlds into one new innovation that’s delivering exactly what customers want,” Pizza Hut said.
