CHICAGO — McDonald’s is bringing back its McCafe Donut Sticks with the addition of a new chocolate sauce. Sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and served warm, the Donut Sticks are served by the half-dozen or dozen during breakfast hours and now come with a chocolate icing sauce for dipping.

“We’re giving customers more of the goodness they crave and pairing the return of Donut Sticks with a new decadent chocolate sauce,” said Mike Lingo, chef for McDonald’s Corp. “We always let our customers be the guide, and a dipping sauce was highly requested when they asked for an accompaniment to go with the popular cinnamon treat. Our rich and delicious chocolate sauce is the perfect pairing for our Donut Sticks to sweeten up the holiday season.

Additionally, McDonald’s is brewing its first new McCafe holiday flavor in more than five years. The new Cinnamon Cookie Latte is made with cinnamon flavor, milk and 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified espresso. Topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon, the beverage is available hot or iced.
