ORRVILLE, OHIO — The J.M. Smucker Co. on Oct. 3 issued a voluntary recall of specific lots of 5-lb bags of Robin Hood All Purpose Flour distributed and sold in the United States due to a possible E. coli contamination.

Smucker said the recall does not affect any Robin Hood flour products sold in Canada. No illnesses related to the outbreak have been reported, the company said.

Smucker dealt with an E. coli outbreak in its Robin Hood flour brand in Canada back in 2017. In that outbreak, six people were hospitalized, and several people who became ill reported having contact with Robin Hood flour.
