RICHMOND, VA. — Guillaume Joly has joined AMF Bakery Systems as business development manager. In his dual role, Mr. Joly will be responsible for supporting customers as well as developing new technologies for the company.

“We are eager to have Guillaume join our team,” said Jason Ward, president. AMF. “He brings expertise in artisan bread and laminated product formulation, bakery process, and best-in-class equipment design that will help drive our overall business strategy while strengthening our commercial and technical teams.”

Mr. Joly will work alongside Clint Adams, AMF’s director of U.S. sales for AMF Tromp and AMF Den Boer, to help bakers find automated solutions that match their production needs. He also will work closely with AMF’s sales, engineering, and R.&D. teams in The Netherlands to advance product strategy for AMF Tromp’s sheeting and laminating technologies.

Mr. Joly has worked in the baking industry for more than 24 years. He graduated with a bachelor of business administration degree from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et de Gestion in Paris and obtained a national degree in baking from the Institut National de la Boulangerie Patisserie. He has worked as a consultant and held roles at Fritsch and Weiss Chocolate.

AMF manufactures a range of bakery equipment for the production of soft bread and buns, artisan bread and rolls, pizza, flatbreads, cakes, pies, pastries, and croissants. Earlier this year, the company integrated AMF Tromp, formerly Tromp Group, and AMF Den Boer, formerly Den Boer Baking Systems, into AMF to better serve bakers around the world.
