LAKEVILLE, MINN. — Hostess Brands, Inc. and Post Consumer Brands have teamed up again to bring another Hostess brand to the cereal aisle. New Post Hostess Twinkies cereal features the taste of Hostess’ Twinkies snack cakes in an oblong-shaped, bite-size cereal form.

“In developing a cereal version of the iconic Twinkies, our top priority was focused on delivering the great Twinkies flavor in each bite,” said Josh Jans, brand manager of cereal partnerships at Post Consumer Brands, a business unit of Post Holdings, Inc. “Knowing that taste remains the No. 1 purchase driver of cereal, we conducted multiple consumer tests, and the new Twinkies cereal delivered. We think fans will find that it not only tastes great with milk but also outside the bowl.”

The new cereal is available in 12-oz boxes and contains 180 calories, 6 grams of saturated fat, 16 grams of sugar and 135 mg of sodium in each 1-cup serving.

Post and Hostess first partnered last December to launch Post Hostess Donettes cereal and Post Hostess Honey Bun cereal.
