FENNVILLE, MICH. — Conagra Brands, Inc. is closing its pie filling facility in Fennville by the end of June. The plant closing is expected to affect 85 employees, the company said.
Daniel Hare, a spokesman with Conagra, said the decision was based on “the need to operate our overall operations and facility footprint as effectively and efficiently as possible.”
Hare said the facility, one of Conagra’s oldest, makes pie fillings. Production will shift to a different plant within the Conagra system, he said.
