ALSIP, ILL. – Griffith Foods has launched Flavour Glaze 3.0 in a ready-to-use shelf- stable format. The flavor delivery system for sauces is an alternative to water-based sauces and dry seasonings, according to the company.

Flavour Glaze comes in six flavors that include bulgogi Korean barbecue, botanero chili lime, buttery garlic, Fuego, lemon pepper, and Nashville hot.

The product may be used in such applications as breaded, battered and fried foods.

“Griffith Foods was the first to offer Flavour glaze as an alternative to water based sauces for fried food applications,” said Keriane Falloon, category management director at Griffith Foods North America. “This enhanced version reflects Griffith Foods’ commitment to developing ingredients and products that help our customers create better food while consistently responding to the changing needs of the market.”

Griffith Foods said the product may protect the crispy texture of breaded, battered and fried foods and also may help food stay crispy for an additional 30 minutes.
