HORSHAM, PA. — Bimbo Bakeries USA, part of Grupo Bimbo SAB de CV, has rebranded its Entenmann’s Baker’s Delights snacks as Entenmann’s Mini Snack Cakes and added two new flavors to the line.

Besides the name change, the brand relaunch includes updated packaging and bolder graphics — including a big “E” — that bring a more contemporary look and better highlight the Entenmann’s logo, according to Horsham-based BBU.

The two new varieties include Mini Iced Chocolate Chip Snack Cakes (yellow cake with chocolate chips and topped with white icing and chocolate sprinkles) and Mini Iced Party Snack Cakes (yellow cake topped with white icing and rainbow sprinkles). Each box contains six individually wrapped cakes.

BBU said the new flavors are designed to appeal to younger consumers. Other varieties in the line include Mini Pound Snack Cakes, Mini Crumb Snack Cakes and Mini Snack Pies.

The snack cakes line previously was branded Entenmann’s Baker’s Delights.

Entenmann’s Mini Snack Cakes with the brand refresh, including the two new varieties, are rolling out to most major retailers nationwide this month at a suggested retail price of $5.29 per box.
