CHICAGO — The Quaker Oats Co. is expanding its Life cereal portfolio with the launch of Mighty Life, a new multigrain cereal the company said is geared toward meeting the “growing consumer demand for foods that deliver both functional benefits and taste.”
Mighty Life will be available in two varieties: Strawberry Blueberry Bliss and Very Vanilla.
Strawberry Blueberry Bliss combines “a fruity burst of flavor with an excellent source of vitamins C, D and zinc to help support a healthy immune system,” Quaker Oats said.
Meanwhile, Very Vanilla offers “a subtly sweet and satisfying taste with an excellent source of vitamin D and calcium to help build strong bones,” the company said.
Mighty Life is available at most major retailers and grocery stores at a suggested retail price of $4.29 for a 13-oz box and $5.29 for a 22.3-oz box.
Life cereal was introduced by Quaker Oats in 1961 and was the company’s first ready-to-eat cereal offering. The cereal is offered in a variety of flavors, including original, chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon.
