SUSSEX, NEW BRUNSWICK — Mrs. Dunster’s bakery, which delivers a wide range of baked foods to restaurants, grocery stores and convenience stores across Canada, has promoted Erin McClure to chief operating officer, effective immediately.

In her new role, McClure will manage the company’s day-to-day operations, which include sales, logistics, human resources, quality assurance and retail stores.

McClure joined Mrs. Dunster’s as director of operations in early 2021. She previously worked at the cannabis company Organigram, Inc., holding various executive titles, including senior director of quality and innovation, senior director of production, and director of operational effectiveness. McClure also worked at Greenfield Global, where she held various roles over the course of more than 15 years, including operations manager, quality assurance manager and shipping/receiver coordinator.

McClure received a bachelor of science degree in environmental biology from Nipissing University in North Bay, Ont.
