PITTSBURGH — The Kraft Heinz Co. has rolled out a new product: Lunchables PB&J. The snack is a dippable, no-thaw crustless peanut butter and jelly.

The sandwiches are available in grape and strawberry varieties.

“The launch of Lunchables PB&J is a continuation in our mission to reinvent the refrigerated category by providing high quality, delicious, affordable and convenient solutions for snack time and beyond,” said Danni Levin, associate director of innovation, Lunchables. “We’re remixing a classic, delivering on parents’ desire for convenience and kids’ love of dipping and customizing — PB&Js will never be the same.”

Lunchables was among four brands singled out by Kraft Heinz executives last month as experiencing significant top-line pressure during the first quarter of fiscal 2025. At that time, Carlos Abrams Rivera, chief executive officer of Kraft Heinz, said the company would be introducing additional innovation to spur the Lunchables brand.

One of the areas that Kraft Heinz believes the new Lunchables PB&J can stand out is thaw time. The company claims the new product is the “first-ever no-thaw, crustless PB&J that’s ready to eat straight from the refrigerator.”

The sandwiches are available in 2.27-oz packages at a suggested retail price of $2.49 at retailers nationwide
