BFY Brands works for an ideal world

BFY Brands ignites a small rebellion to create a larger revolution in the evolution of healthy snacking.

A row of proprietary poppers turn out three varieties of healthy crisps on one production line at the Liberty, NY, facility.

A 100,000-lb silo holds non-GMO corn for better-for-you snacks.

At the Middletown plant, corn is automatically sifted, hydrated and mashed, then pneumatically transferred to holding tanks in the popping room.

Jared Swift, Middletown plant manager, monitors the proprietary popped crisps process Our Little Rebellion PopCorners.

Freshly made popped crisps pass through seasoning drums before heading toward packaging.

Puffed snacks tumble into multihead weighers that accurately feed vertical/form/fill/seal baggers below.

Leading the company's healthy snacks initiative are (from left) Jared Swift, plant manager, Medora Snacks; Dan Morgan, president and chief sales officer, BFY Brands; Paul Nardone, CEO, BFY Brands; Gunther Brinkman, vice-president, contract manufacturing, Ideal Snacks; and Steven Van Poucke, vice-president, engineering, BFY Brands.
