General Mills is renovating its classic Betty Crocker mix with the introduction of Betty’s Original Recipe cake mixes. Available in Chocolate Joy, Golden Yellow and German Chocolate Delight, the cake mixes each contain just seven recognizable ingredients and contain no artificial flavors, artificial colors or preservatives.

General Mills’ Annie’s brand is introducing Organic Cheese Puffs, baked gluten-free snacks covered with real cheese from cows raised without antibiotics or synthetic hormones. Available in Cheddar Cheesy and White Cheddar Bunny Tail varieties, the certified organic puffs provide 8 grams of whole grains per serving and contain no G.M.O.s, artificial flavors, synthetic colors or synthetic preservatives.

General Mills’ Lärabar brand is adding two new flavors to its lineup of Lärabar Bites, which consist of simple ingredients rolled together and dusted with coconut flour. New caramel sea salt and chocolate hazelnut flavors are non-G.M.O., gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free. The Caramel Sea salt variety is made with dates, almonds, maple sugar, coconut, coconut flour, sea salt and vanilla extract and the chocolate hazelnut flavor is made with dates, almonds, chocolate chips, hazelnuts, coconut flour, cocoa powder and vanilla extract.

Lärabar is launching its new line of Nut & Seed Crunchy Bars, featuring sprouted chia seeds, honey and maple. Containing 10 ingredients or fewer, the bars are Non GMO Project verified, gluten-free, soy-free and kosher. Flavors include maple cinnamon, honey almond cranberry and dark chocolate almond.

Expanding on its granola cups line, Nature Valley is offering new Almond Butter Double Chocolate Granola Cups. The cups feature whole grain oats and nut granola cups filled with almond butter and cocoa topped with chopped almonds and dipped in dark chocolate.
