The bread chips are made with rye bread, sunflower oil and a variety of herbs and spices and do not contain MSG, artificial flavors or artificial colors.

Under its Osteria Italia brand, Grissinificio Europa, Corneliano d'Alba, Italy, is adding mini breadsticks to its range of bread and baked snacks. Packaged in an 80-gram stand-up pouch, the breadsticks are shaped like mini baguettes and finished with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

Dr. Karg’s, Schwabach, Germany, is launching a new protein-filled cracker made with whole grain flour. The Sesame & Linseed Protein Snack is rolled out extra thin to provide a satisfying crunch and sprinkled with sesame seeds and linseeds for a slightly nutty taste. It contains 8 grams of protein and 2.2 grams of omega-3 fatty acids per serving. Compared to the brand’s Wholegrain Crispbread Classic 3-Seed, the protein snack has 36% less carbohydrates.
Dr. Karg’s is also adding a new cracker variety to its portfolio of organic whole grain snacks. The rosemary and sea salt crackers contain linseeds, rosemary, sea salt, extra-virgin olive oil and barley malt extract.

Naura Foods, Wrocław, Poland, is expanding its vegan sesame snaps lineup with the addition of coconut and maqui flavors. The Bio Sesame Snaps with Coconut contains white sesame seeds and coconut flakes while the Bio Sesame Snaps with Maqui include black and white sesame seeds, cranberries and sour maqui berries.

Pâtisserie des Flandres, Erquinghem-Lys, France, is rolling out two new wafer crackers: organic apple and cinnamon and chorizo and mozzarella. From its Croc Pomme brand, the company is releasing organic apple and cinnamon wafers made with more than 30% apples. The snack does not contain preservatives, added sugars or artificial colors. Under its Tresours Gourmands unit, it is releasing a chorizo and mozzarella wafer that includes mozzarella cheese, chorizo flavors and paprika.

Simply Raw, Handewitt, Germany, is launching Raw BA protein bars. Available in two flavors — cacao and orange and spirulina and lemon — the vegan bars are made with organic ingredients and do not contain gluten or lactose.

The vegan, baked treat is available in 100-gram gift packages, 16-gram retail packs and 20-gram grab-and-go single-serve sizes. The company is also adding a matcha flavor to its Pure Butter Biscuits line.
