For the production of food that includes an outer envelope and an inner stuffing, this process involves a sheet of the first food product and a roller of the second. The sheet is wound around the roller via driving belts to create a stuffed product. Water jet technology provides an additional step for cutting the roller and the sheet.

This method is used to prepare a bakery product, which undergoes heat treatment while keeping a sufficient amount of probiotic microorganisms. The process’ steps include preparing a suspension that is dried and converted to granules, coating granules to resist baking heat and stomach pH, combining the granules with a dough for stabilization and baking the mixture.

For dough-based products, the method uses a nonsoluble, substantially white granular salt substitute. The subsitute can be used in place of large particles such as kosher salt, and in certain processes, the salt substitute can be used to encompass white tapioca.
