HORSHAM, PA. — Bimbo Bakeries USA has launched the “Get Ingrained Grants Program” through its Arnold, Brownberry and Oroweat bread brands. The program will award two $15,000 grants to individuals or organizations committed to health and wellness-based community initiatives. To apply for the grant, participants must submit an essay of no more than 250 words that describes a personal or organizational mission to improve health and wellness in their community through nutrition-based initiatives. The application also should include a budget overview, complete with an explanation of how a $15,000 grant would help to implement a new project, or expand or complete a project already under way. More details on the program, which is open through Oct. 4, are available at www.getingrained.com.
