ST. LOUIS — Solae has opened the DuPont Solae Asia Food Application Center, a new Asia food application center located within the DuPont China Research & Development Center building in Shanghai, China. The new center will focus on food, beverage, bakery, confectionery and meat products, and is Solae’s fourth major research and development facility to support global business growth, with other facilities located in North America, Europe and South America.
“We are very excited to open this new food application center in Asia as our similar facilities in other regions of the world have proven highly effective at addressing regional food development needs,” said Torkel Rhenman, chief executive officer of Solae. “This new facility is part of our long-term commitment to Asia Pacific customers that we will continue expanding our capabilities, delivering more nutritional, functional, economical and sustainable ingredient solutions to this high growth market.”
