HUNT VALLEY, MD. — McCormick For Chefs, the Food Away From Home division of McCormick & Co., is launching a line of reduced sodium rice mixes under the Zatarain brand.

According to McCormick & Co., the new rice mixes meet the less than 250 mg sodium nutritional guidelines for schools and health care side dishes. The mixes also now are available in new pouch packaging with labels in English and Spanish.

The new portfolio includes Brown and Wild Rice Mix; Creole Pilaf Mix with Long Grain and Wild Rice; Dirty Rice Mix; Jambalaya Mix; Long Grain and Wild Rice Mix; Red Beans and Rice Mix; Rice Pilaf Mix; and Yellow Rice Mix.
