ORLANDO, FLA. — Executives said Hostess Brands, Inc. has barely scratched the surface of potential innovation opportunities they see across brands like Twinkies, HoHos and Ding Dongs. In a Jan. 10 presentation at ICR Conference 2017 in Orlando, William D. Toler, chief executive officer, unveiled chocolate Twinkies and other breakthrough new products that he said point to new directions the company may pursue.

Hostess will now have to consider quality based on ingredients and less bottom line thinking toward custom satisfaction. Adulteration in the food business is wide spread especially in the ice cream business and competition in bagels too. Toler may not know much about either, like category one Vanilla vs./ artificial, etc. Pleasing the palate is difficult especially adults and not children being forced in their bag lunches other Hostess products that really are not base on quality.
