CHESTERFIELD, MO. — AB Mauri Fleischmann’s, the North American region of AB Mauri, will increase prices in the United States and Canada on fresh yeast, dry yeast and mold inhibitors effective Jan. 1, 2012, or as contracts expire. The company said the price increases reflect rising costs for transportation, substrates, propionic acid and other key raw materials.
AB Mauri said the bakery ingredient increases will vary based on their different input costs.


Additionally, AB Mauri said it will be implementing service-level brackets that may increase pricing for customers based on order size and delivery frequency.
