The Packaging and Processing Women’s Leadership Network (PPWLN) celebrated its first anniversary at Pack Expo. PMMI formed PPWLN with the specific goal to recruit, retain and advance women in the packaging and processing areas of manufacturing
Tana Utley, vice-president, Caterpillar, Inc., gave the keynote speech at the event and offered the more than 500 people in the audience advice on developing a career in the packaging, processing and engineering industry. She discussed her formula for career growth and explained how she overcame challenges in the workplace by honing her communication skills.
