ST. PAUL, MINN. — Debi Rogers has been elected to the position of president-elect of the AACC International board of directors, effective at the conclusion of the association’s annual meeting set for Oct. 24-27 in Savannah, Ga. Ms. Rogers is the director of cereal chemistry for AIB International, and has been a member of AACC International for more than 25 years, having served as chair of the Carbohydrate and the Milling and Baking Divisions, as well as the Manhattan Section. In addition to Ms. Rogers, Art Bettge, food technologist and research laboratory manager for the U.S.D.A.-A.R.S. Western Wheat Quality Laboratory, has been named director of AACC International. He has been a member of AACC International for more than 20 years, having served as an officer and chair of the Pacific Northwest Section. He also has chaired many technical sessions at AACC annual meetings.
