ZELIENOPLE, PA. — 5 Generation Bakers, a commercial manufacturer of frozen wholesale products, is broadening the market-area expansion of its Jenny Lee Cinnamon Swirl bread with the addition of McKenna Sales to represent the products in the Boston/New England market. The company earlier selected Allied Brokers and Consulting to represent the products in the Chicago-land/Midwest area.
Jenny Lee Cinnamon Swirl bread has been produced in Western Pennsylvania since shortly after the Civil War.
Founded by Scott Baker, a fifth generation baker, 5 Generation Bakers was created two years ago to continue and expand the availability of Mr. Baker’s family’s trademarked product. Since that time, the company’s distribution has grown from its Pittsburgh-area base to include supermarkets and restaurants throughout Pennsylvania, New York and the Mid-Atlantic States, Eastern Ohio and the Midwest.
All varieties of Jenny Lee Cinnamon Swirl bread are baked in cylinder shapes with crimps, feature a cinnamon swirl from end-to-end of the loaves and are coated with a cinnamon-sugar blend, adhered to the crust by melted butter.
