CHICAGO — Reacting to what the company said is continued tighter consumer spending, Dunkin Brands, Inc. is introducing a limited-time value menu at 400 participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations in the Chicago area.
The menu will feature six items priced at 99c, including a sausage, egg and cheese wrap; bacon, egg and cheese wrap; egg and cheese wrap; raspberry Danish; hash browns package of five munchkins.
Launching the new menu, Dunkin’ Donuts is distributing 20,000 rechargeable Dunkin-Donuts cards at commuter stations, downtown plazas and other major pedestrian areas in metropolitan Chicago, beginning today. Each card is pre-loaded with $2 and may be used at and Dunkin’ Donuts location in the Chicago area.
Additionally, Dunkin’ Donuts is presenting a $10,000 check to Uncle Shack’s Food Pantry, an organization that provides weekly food service to needy families in Chicago. The organization is run by the family of Chicago Bulls basketball star Derrick Rose.
