COMMERCE, CALIF. — Valerie Oswalt, former president of North America Confections at Mondelez International, has been named chief executive officer of Century Snacks.
Ms. Oswalt has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, most recently as president of North America Confections at Mondelez. During her time at Mondelez and Kraft Foods Group, Ms. Oswalt held roles of increasing responsibility, including president of North America Sales, vice-president of business development, vice-president of retail, and finance operations manager. She also was a senior accountant at Deloitte & Touche for two years.
She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from Queens College in New York and a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
