LOS ANGELES – Snack it Forward, L.L.C., a maker of better-for-you snacks, plans to acquire World Peas, a producer of legume-based savory snacks based in Austin, Texas. World Peas’ low-calorie, high-protein, high-fiber snacks contain coated peas and fava beans. After the acquisition, World Peas will operate within the Snack it Forward headquarters in Los Angeles.
Anish Seth, chief executive officer and founder of World Peas, will join Snack it Forward as president of Pulse Snacks. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Snack it Forward produces a line of Sunkist fruit and nut snacks.
