With sales of gluten-free foods skyrocketing, Ingredion (the merged Corn Products and National Starch Food Innovation) offers Homecraft Create GF specialty flour and Expandex modified starch to optimize formulations. The flour supports shape, texture and taste appeal for gluten-free cookies, waffles, muffin and cake products, while the modified starch improves eating qualities and visual appeal. In addition, the flour replaces 25 to 60% of the fat in dry mix and ready-to-eat brownies, cakes and cookies. The combined companies also offer a portfolio of functional fibers.
