HOUSTON — RiceBran Technologies has added three individuals to its sales and quality assurance team.

Denny Lacy has been named director of sales. Mr. Lacy has more than 20 years of sales management experience in the food and animal nutrition industry, most recently as vice-president of sales at AFB International. Earlier, he worked at DuPont Nutrition & Health, Conagra Brands, Penford and Cargill.

Amy Gilliland has joined RiceBran as director of technical sales. Ms. Gilliland has more than 20 years of experience in technical and ingredient sales, including experience in starch and fiber applications. She most recently was technical director at Batory Foods. Earlier, she held executive positions at Celanese Food Ingredients, Pinnacle Foods and National Starch.

Sherry Rhoads has been named vice-president of compliance, regulatory and external affairs. Ms. Rhoads has 29 years of experience in the flour milling industry, most recently as director of FSQR at Ardent Mills. Prior to Ardent Mills she held quality assurance management positions at Conagra Brands, Horizon Milling and Cargill.
